The Headache, The Wrestle, The 10%
I didn't want to say it out loud, but it was true. I spent weeks forcing myself to sit down, open the pages, and "try" to hear God. But every time I did, all I heard was: You aren't doing enough. Your sacrifice is weak. Your heart isn't right. I finally hit my breaking point over a $63 tithe and a bank account that was nearly empty. I slammed the book shut and told God to get off my neck. I was done with the performance. I was done with the "fire and brimstone" weight of never being enough. But then, I stumbled across a video that changed everything. It talked about prayer not as a religious chore, but as Quantum Technology—a way to align with a reality that already exists.
Why I Stopped Begging
If you are praying from a state of lack by begging God to "please fix it," you are accidentally tuning into the frequency of your problem and stabilizing that stress in your reality. True prayer is "Quantum Technology" that moves you from frantic petition to divine alignment, collapsing the probability of fear into the substance of faith. Instead of observing your inadequacy, look at the "Fact Sheet" of Scripture and thank God for the solution as if it is already a finished legal document. When you swap "Please help me" for "Thank you for handling this," you find the peace to stop worrying about the next ten years and simply move through the next ten minutes with a calm heart.
Is God Actually Mad at Me?
I realized I wasn't actually reading the Bible; I was projecting my own low self-worth onto the page. I’d been reading through an 'Angry Boss Filter'—hearing sighs of annoyance instead of a loving voice. It was time for a Tone Check. If you feel like God is 'on your neck' while you’re trying your hardest, you might be misreading the target of His anger.
Who Am I When I’m Doing "Nothing"?
🛑 Stop Begging. Start Aligning.
Ever feel like you’re a servant trying to stay employed rather than a daughter sitting at the table? 😬 We often treat our worth like a variable—something that goes up when we’re "perfect" and down when we’re yelling at the ceiling. You aren’t a "fixer-upper" project; you are God’s poíēma—His masterpiece. You aren’t working toward a status; you are already "Completed" (Colossians 2:10).
When Faith and Feelings Don’t Match
Satan doesn’t need to curse me; I do a good enough job of that myself. My own voice is harsher than any critic I’ll ever face. So why am I still writing this blog? Today, I’m putting down the mask of 'getting better' and talking about the reality of the struggle."
When Being Known Feels Scary
We’re told that God knowing our every thought is a comfort, but to be honest? It’s scary. It’s scary because He hears the way I bully myself and the 'unfiltered' thoughts I try to hide. Today, I’m putting down the mask of the 'perfect' Christian walk and exploring the relief of being fully known and still fully loved.
Speaking Life into the “Knit”
I used to think my 2026 goals—the house, the wedding, the overtime—were distractions from God. I felt like they were the things keeping me from being 'spiritual.' But what if the life I’m building is actually evidence of His goodness? Today I’m learning to see my 'to-do' list as a 'wonderful work' and narrating my life with grace instead of guilt.
